The method of drawing grapes

A. Pointing method for grapes. Mix ultramarine blue with red to create a purple color. Dip the tip of the brush into the darker purple and use it to dot a circle on the paper, leaving a white spot at an appropriate position on the circle to represent the luster of the grapes. Whether the grapes are drawn with a vivid luster depends not only on the smoothness of the color but also on the expression of their unique light effect. The expression of the light effect is mainly achieved by leaving white spaces. If during the drawing process, the color seeps over and covers the highlight point, before the color dries, you can use water (or a light glue) to dot on the highlight area. The water can push away the unfixed color, thus leaving a natural highlight point. When dotting grapes, overlap the dots and use a darker color to draw the grapes behind, so as to contrast with the grapes in front. After the grapes are drawn, use light ink to outline the stems and connect them, and finally add the vines and leaves.

B. The method of drawing vines. The vine of grapes and that of wisteria have little difference in the way of brushstroke and the organization of lines. The difference lies in the shape of the leaves. Therefore, when drawing, pay attention to expressing these features.
