★ Oil paintings should avoid long-term direct exposure to sunlight because ultraviolet rays are highly destructive to colors, causing fading and discoloration.
★ It is strictly forbidden to paste two paintings together. Avoid the adhesion caused by rising temperature, which may cause the paint to fall off and the picture to be damaged.
★ When rolling up the oil painting, make the canvas face inward and the picture face outward. Wrap an outer layer of paper tube and then cover it with plastic wrap to prevent cracking of the picture.
★ When storing oil paintings, pay attention to ventilation and moisture prevention. Try to keep them away from bathrooms and kitchens. Be careful to prevent damage caused by dust and cooking fumes to the canvas. The room should maintain a certain temperature and humidity. Wet paintings must be slowly dried in the shade. Avoid direct exposure to the sun; otherwise, the picture is prone to fall off.

For oil paintings with a long history and cracks, you must use less water and perform local dry wiping.
